Sally Backman (Exercise Physiologist)
LicenseeSally is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and is passionate about empowering clients to take control of their health through exercise prescription and education. Sally graduated from Victoria University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Human Movement and went onto complete her Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at Victoria University in 2015. Sally has gained extensive clinical experience in treating a variety of clients from athletes, older adults, and clients with chronic and complex conditions. Sally is experienced in treating various conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, occupational injuries, pre and post surgical interventions, pre and postnatal care, diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, and mental health conditions. Sally uses her skillset in exercise prescription to promote injury prevention and rehabilitation.
When Sally is not helping her clients improve their own health, you can find her enjoying all different forms of training including HIIT, Pilates, and Yoga or going hiking with friends. Sally also loves following the AFL, going to the beach, experiencing cafes and restaurants around Melbourne, and traveling around the world.
Sally is a strong believer in exercise as medicine to achieve successful client outcomes.
