CONSULTATIONS
An appointment will comprise of:
- Patient Consent (New patients) form to be filled out by the patient
- A thorough case history, assessment and treatment taken by your practitioner
- Treatment will be conducted if clinically indicated
- Patient consent will be obtained prior to any assessment or treatment procedures.
- If treatment is indicated your practitioner will explain the assessment and any techniques/exercise proposed plus any potential risks.
- If after a case history, assessment and consultation, the patient is not a candidate for treatment, the patient may be recommended to further management by a relevant healthcare professional. In this event you will still be charged the full consultation fee for the appointment.
- Payment is required at the time of your consultation. Rebates from private health insurance may be possible if you have the appropriate professions cover in your extras cover.
TELEHEALTH
By clicking the link to join your online Telehealth consultation you are consenting to the online consultation.
All video calls are encrypted and are not recorded.
Payment can be made prior through our online booking system or during/after via our website payment system. If you join the online Telehealth consultation you are agreeing to pay the consultation fee.
ONLINE BOOKING
By registering as a patient online you are subscribing to receiving emails from OsteopathyOne. You can unsubscribe at any time.
You can cancel your appointment by clicking the cancellation link on your confirmation email as long as it is 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Please call the clinic to cancel or move your appointment if it's less than 24 hours before your appointment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. By booking an appointment with us and consenting to our consent to treatment you agree to provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancelling or moving an appointment or a cancellation fee up to 100% of the scheduled fee with be charged.
We understand there can be situations outside of your control and we will do our best to have open communication with you before sending a cancellation fee.
We ask you to respect our practitioners time and our patients who may be waiting for an appointment.
All 3rd party insurance patients such as TAC and Worksafe must personally pay the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee cannot be sent to the insurance provider.
If you have been sent a cancellation fee, you will not be eligible for treatment until the cancellation fee is paid.
ONLINE FORMS
All digital online forms are sent to your medical file held on our practice management system "cliniko". The form/file is part of your medical file. For information regarding our privacy policy please refer to our website.
SCHEDULE OF FEES
- All fees are due at the time of your consultation.
- Please email or call us prior to appointment for the scheduled fee.
- Fees may change without notice.
- Fees may vary from practitioner to practitioner.
CONCESSION FEES
We offer concession rates for Osteopathic and Exercise Physiology Services. Excludes Group Rehabilitation, Myotherapy, Remedial Massage and 3rd party insurance claims. Proof of concession must be presented at the time of your consultation. Concession rates are available to the following people.
- Students / Children
- Seniors
- Pensioners
- Healthcare Card Holders
3RD PARTY PAYMENTS
3rd party payments are payments made by organisations such as but not limited to:
- Worksafe
- TAC
- Medicare
- Health Insurance Providers
In the event the 3rd party payment is declined or an audit requests the money to be paid back to the 3rd party, the patient will be liable for the outstanding amount.
WORKSAFE
OsteopathyOne may charge a gap fee to Worksafe patients.
Patients must bring in all documentation for their Worksafe claim. OsteopathyOne will need to confirm the claim is valid before billing Worksafe on the patients behalf. You may be required to pay upfront until confirmation is made.
All patients covered under Worksafe are required to attend regular appointments and complete pain / functional questionnaires at regular intervals.
Cancellation policy still applies.
TAC
OsteopathyOne may charge a gap fee to TAC patients.
Patients must bring in all documentation for their TAC claim. OsteopathyOne will need to confirm the claim is valid before billing TAC on the patients behalf. You may be required to pay upfront until confirmation is made.
All patients covered under TAC are required to attend regular appointments and complete pain / functional questionnaires at regular intervals.
Cancellation policy still applies.
MEDICARE / CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT
Chronic disease management (CDM) Medicare plans are for patients with a chronic illness and require ongoing care. You can be allocated up to 5 treatments per year and must be referred from a General Practitioner. Speak to your GP today to see if you're eligible.
Effective July 1st 2022: All Medicare CDM patients will be required to pay a gap fee. The consultation fee must be paid in full. The rebate amount will be paid onto your eftpos card or into your bank account. The current rebate is $60.35
Please bring your medicare and eftpos card for rebate processing.

COVID-19
- You agree to take preventative steps to reduce the risk of exposure and transmission to COVID-19 and acknowledge and agree that you enter our clinic and engage our services at your own risk.
- You hereby agree to release, waive, forever discharge, and indemnify OsteopathyOne from any and all liability and claims arising out of or in relation to you contracting COVID-19 or being exposed to COVID-19 at the Clinic or by engaging the services of OsteopathyOne.
REFER A FRIEND OR FAMILY PROMOTION
New Patients: If you are referred by an existing patient and have a sms, email or paper voucher you will receive 10% off your first appointment.
Existing Patients: Refer a family or friend to receive 10% off your next appointment.
Excludes 3rd party insurance claims such as Medicare, TAC, WorkSafe etc.
